Vampires are fearsome because of their strength, and Alucard's strength is unmatched. He's cocky, prone to cynical and sarcastic comments in most everything, and that's just his good side. He's highly sadistic, and completely mocking of those he finds inferior - and indeed, not many actually earn his respect. With such a 'good record', it's hard to imagine he'd work for the Hellsing Organization, much less call the head of the Hellsing clan 'master'. Why would a vampire hunt and destroy his own kind - especially when it was at the direction of humans?

You are Paladin Anderson. Alexander Anderson goes by many names, but next to nothing is known about him, and what little information is known is enough to induce fear in the hearts of the impure. A prize agent of the secret sect of the Vatican - Section 13, the Iscariot Organization - his job is much like that of Hellsing's. However, rather than working towards a common goal, the ideological differences between the Catholic and Protestant churches only make them bitter enemies, as seen when Alexander first introduces himself - by killing several of Hellsing's soldiers, and severely wounding Seras without so much as a word.Anderson has amazing and deadly spells and skill within battle, proving himself to be a worthy foe against Alucard as they engage in battle for the first time. Though his blessed (and odd-looking) blades, holy magic, and speed would seem more than enough, it's shown he even has even more tricks up his sleeve, when he manages to stand up after having one of Alucard's special bullets planted in his skull - a Regenerator, Alucard calls him, and poses the question as to who, exactly, is the monster.
