in italy, a campaign for schweppes tonic water translated it into schweppes toilet water
in taiwan, the pepsi slogan ''come alive with the pepsi generation'' was mistranslated to say ''pepsi will bring your ancestors back from the dead''
when the pope visited the US, a floridian tshirt company printed shirts in spanish to say ''i saw the pope''. the only problem was that it really said ''i saw the potato''
