Re: Arbitor0913's game
it was. it was all rainbow colored and everything you'd expect from a budgeted kid in school with way too many legos looking for a unique way to fix a problem

Re: Arbitor0913's game
you can. i thought i posted the link. oh well here it is until i figure out how to get the game on here.
go to the following website:
www.videogameprogramming.org
from there go to VG2 and select extra
download styrks
extract the files
the game is in the folder. should be the only .exe file.
i have a self extracting zip that i am trying to upload here but cant figure out how.
EDIT:
sorry forgot to mention the bug in it. the intro and controls got cut off.
the controls are as follows:
POPE:
a/d: move left/right
s:defend
w:finisher(when blue bar is full) (popes is better than santas. had more time to work on it)
space:attack
SANTA:
right/left arrows move left/right
down arrow:defend
up arrow:finisher(when blue bar is full) (popes is better than santas. had more time to work on it)
right shift key:attack
esc: exit game
enter: pause
there i think i covered everything

Re: Arbitor0913's game
VB is easy and fun.
I HATE PYTHON
its way too close to C and C++. i failed that class because they were too similar and i kept switching into C++ since i have 2 years experience with it. i have problems with C but not as much because it uses the same syntax.
and where did you here about PYTHON? as far as i knew it was only used here at Shawnee State University. i know it was made by my programming teacher. PYTHON itself is a creation of Paul Yost. who is my teacher.

Re: Arbitor0913's game
the game isn't long and was fairly difficult. as for those of you thinking about Visual Basic if you run into roadblocks i will help out. i'm fairly good at VB. i mean i do have 4 years experience to fall back on.
